We spent the last two days practicing setting everything up so we don't look like rookies when we get to our first campground. I want to make sure Connie and I can communiate when I try to back this huge thing into a campsite, so we are working on hand signals. I have pulled trailers before but never anything this long. Backing a trailer is always fun if you haven't done it much. I'm not too bad when it comes to manuevering it so we should be okay. I'm going to try to get some more practice getting it into and out of tight places in the next week. We put the four stabilizers down and leveled it, pulled the awning out and set up our "front porch". We tested the furnace to make sure the propane powered heater works, the fridge and freezer work too. They run on propane or electric so thats nice to make sure our food stays cold.
All of the furniture in the house is now sold with the exception on our bedroom set and Christopher's bedroom set. We are going to store those so we at least have beds to sleep on when we find that perfect spot to settle down. We still have tons of the small stuff left so I am going to post on Craigs List and EBay to see what we can get sold.
