Green Mountan Falls, CO

We drove from Pagosa Springs on Wednesday and settled into our new campground right at sunset. It was a long day through some beautiful country and over some spectacular mountain passes. The Suburban worked its butt off to get us up and down those mountains, sometimes only doing 20mph but we made it safe and sound. Christopher was ready to get out of that car seat since that was one of the longest driving days we have done in a while. We are going to stay here at the Rocky Top Campground in Green Mountain Falls for the next month. We don't have to be in South Fork, CO until May 16th so we will enjoy our time here in this beautiful area. We are just northwest of Colorado Springs near Manitou. The campground is set on the edge of a mountain with great views all around us. I saw two foxes run by the first night and Christopher loves the two ground hogs living just behind us near the playground. We will post some pics soon.
